Based on a true story. 1944. In a Polish camp, a group of prisoners is planning a symbolic Olympic game. They aim to regain their human dignity, on which the Nazi step everyday. Once the German torturers realize the plan, they put out an impossible challenge: to actually play the Olympic game, in order to definitely show their superiority.

Surprisingly, the prisoners take up the challenge. They do not believe they can defeat the Germans – they can not, because of their serious conditions. With the help of Resistance and distracting the Germans’ attention through the competition, they can rather save the innocent lives of women and children which are confined in a close transition camp.


THE PROJECT

2012 is an Olympic year and this Casanova Multimedia’s project is among the events related to the London Olympic Games. An international work which mirrors the cosmopolitan nature of the represented prison camp, in order to convey a concrete message of tolerance among different nationalities, ethnic groups, and characters – which in the end is the sense of the Olympic Games themselves.
